Is Shipping included? How about VAT?
No. Shipping costs will be collected after the project in the pledge manager. For estimated shipping costs please see the ‘Estimated Shipping’ section of the Kickstarter page. These prices are estimates only and subject to change.
In compliance to the EU, UK, and CA laws, VAT will be collected in the pledge manager for EU, UK and CA backers. Most regions require that VAT taxes are remitted based on BOTH the product cost and shipping cost, so please keep that in mind as you plan for these costs.

If I make a small pledge, can upgrade it later or add extra $ to help the campaign?

What is a pledge manager, and will you be using one?
A pledge manager is a website to manage your Kickstarter rewards post-campaign. It’s where you’ll confirm your order and shipping address. We’ll provide specific instructions via email with a link to complete your order. Yes, we will be using a reputable pledge manager called BackerKit.

Will you have any stretch goals or add-ons?
Yes, we have some pretty sweet stretch goals in store for you! But we need to get closer to funding before we reveal them. Why? We want to make sure the core game gets made first as that’s the most important thing. We can’t wait to show you though! There will NOT be any add-ons - we prefer not to make you pay extra for stuff.

I'd like to sleeve my cards - what are the card sizes?
All cards in Joystick Heroes are standard poker size (64mm x 89mm).

Will there be other language versions of Joystick Heroes?
This Kickstarter is only for the English version of the game. Other languages MAY be printed in the future but there is nothing planned at this moment.

It says Joystick Heroes is for 2-6 players. Will there be a solo mode?
There’s a solo mode in the rulebook, but it’s pretty much the same as playing the regular game. You just get the entire arcade to yourself!

First of all, thank you for your pledge! It means a ton to us. If you want to take it next level, we’d love if you’d share our project link with family and friends, on social media, etc. Just share your enthusiasm about Joystick Heroes and the link to the project page. What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
